Kai Trump can count on plenty of well-known supporters when she makes her professional golf debut on Thursday.

The 18-year-old athlete, who is related to Donald Trump, received a tournament invitation to compete at the Annika competition in the Sunshine State.

The former president, an avid golfer, operates numerous golf courses and often plays against Kai.

"He's fairly competent. I can't reveal details but we have tight competitions," she stated.

She mentioned that her grandfather, who won't be present, advised her: "Just don't get nervous."

"He practically advised me to compete and enjoy myself," she added.

"From my perspective, he's simply an ordinary family member. He can't make it this weekend. He's busy with presidential duties, so he's somewhat preoccupied."

While still amateur, Kai has competed in only three events recently and maintains ranking 461 in AJGA listings.

Yet she's able to seek guidance from golf legend, romantically involved with Kai's mother.

"He is the top athlete worldwide," the young golfer said.

"Additionally, he's an even better human being. He suggested me to play, have fun, following whatever happens."

She'll challenge multiple the biggest names in the sport at the Annika, featuring second-ranked Nelly Korda, England's Charley Hull, professional Thompson and 2023 champion champion Vu.

The LPGA stated that her participation brings the sport to new audiences, particularly with youth audiences.

The young star has a massive following and just introduced an exclusive apparel and wellness label.

Her first tee time at 5:30 PM GMT.
